The venue: Florida Park

This year's conference is to be held at a very special venue in Madrid's renowned Parque del Buen Retiro. Normally accustomed to Flamenco dancers, Florida Park is surrounded by museums and Madrid's beautiful Salamanca district, and just a stone's throw away from the energetic old town.

Combined with the fabulous Spanish summer weather, the Conferencia Rails 2011 will be just too hot to miss!

The workshops: Madrid on Rails

Madrid on Rails, Vicálvaro, Madrid

Workshops will take place in Madrid on Rails, an open source software promotion center created by the city council in 2009. It's located on the soth-east Vicálvaro district, very near the Metro station.

You can get there by the line 9 (if you're staying near the main venue in Retiro, it's a 25 minutes trip).
